Cutie Mark: Discere's cutie mark is a simple blank scroll. The scroll symbolizes Learning and observing, while it being blank represents that his curiousity and kindness know no bounds.

Personality: Discere is a very kind and generous pony with a craving for learning comparable to a certain purple unicorn that lives in a library. Discere spends his time buried in books but when he is with his friends he always promotes a good time.

Backstory: When Discere was barely an adult pony he awoke in a hospital in Manehatten. He had been discovered in a nearby forest battered and broken. Discere healed over time, but sadly he had no memories prior to awakening... save one.(see other for the memory) About a year later Discere became a wandering pony looking for a place to call home. Now during these travels Discere met an interesting pony, or more accurately a zebra, and her name was Zecora.(see other for more info on how they met) During a conversation between the two, Zecora mentioned a group of rambunctious ponies that she had recently become aquainted with. From this topic stemmed a conversation about Ponyville. A quaint, yet bustling little town near the Everfree Forest. Somthing inside Discere warmed when he thought about Ponyville and he decided to check in on the town and see if there were any vacancies.(Im going to skip alot of small details here) After a meeting with the Mayor Discere was directed to decently sized, well built cottage that was available. And being that it was no more than a couple hundred yards from the edge of the Everfree Forest, not many ponies were eager to move in, so Discere got quite a steal for the price. Discere's longing for a home is at an end... or is it?
