Personality: Chiptune used to be kind, ambitious, and fun-loving pony, eager to make a name for herself in the music industry. Used to be, that is. All of that came crashing down when her dreams were crushed by none other than the famous, DJ-PON3, Vinyl Scratch herself. Now she is bitter pony. She believes that dreams are pointless things, and she longs for revenge on Vinyl. She craves the fame and fortune Vinyl has earned for herself with great intensity.

Backstory: Chiptune grew up in Ponyville with her two best friends Octavia and Vinyl Scratch. When Octavia left to study music in Canterlot, Chiptune and Vinyl became very close friends. The two shared the dream of become famous DJ partners, each specializing in different genres of music. After they both worked several smaller gigs together, they each got an offer to from a record label. Unfortunately for the two friends, the offers were separate and the record company only wanted one DJ. They both auditioned for the spot. Vinyl was decided to be the better DJ, while Chiptune was cast aside and forgotten.
