Appearance: He is an average sized unicorn stallion. He has an indigo colored hide, with a messy and slightly spiky navy blue mane edged with black. He usually wears an old pair of goggles on his forehead, and he has aqua colored eyes.

Cutie Mark: He has an atom for a cutie mark, that has a fluid filled beaker in the center where the nucleus would normally be. Doc is a gifted scientist with a knack for playing problems and challenges out in his head and figuring out the the solutions.

Personality: Doc is generally a joyful pony despite his past. His father had always taught him to live with hope, and that there was always something good to be seen in every situation. Doc loves science and problem solving. He has studied many different fields of science. He is very excitable when it comes to this and gets very anxious and excited when he feels he is about to make a breakthrough. He also gets very excited when he discovers something new that he didn’t see or know before. But for all of his genius he is quite “adorkably oblivious”. He is not the most socially adept pony and will often say or do things without realizing their consequences and get himself in trouble. He loves to have fun, and he greatly loves his friends once he attains them and slowly realizes that once he receives those friendships he will do anything to keep them. He has a very hopeful almost expectant personality, and it is very hard to discourage him or get him down. He is very slow to give up as he is very stubborn. This can also get him in trouble as he will tend to get into arguments. But he will always admit when he is wrong and he will always apologize. He is a great strength to his friends and a great source of encouragement. His primary characteristic is faith.<br />

Backstory: Doc was born in Canterlot but has lived in many places. He is an only child and has no extended family. His mother died giving birth to him and he was raised by his father. Because of this he later shares somewhat of a kinship with a pony named Jay. His father is Grayson Stone, one of the greatest inventors in Equestria and is well loved by ponies everywhere. Doc was not nearly as well-known as his father because he mostly stayed out of main-stream society and kept to himself. He has never had any friends except Ophelia his otter, and though he was greatly loved by his father, his career pulled him from home quite often. Thus Doc had a very lonely childhood, though his father tried desperately to spend time with his son and show him his love. Doc is a brilliant scientist. He has a unique talent for figuring things out and solving problems in his mind. His father suffered from a debilitating disease called FMDD (Fatal Magical Decay Disorder). Almost nothing is known about this rare disease, except that it always ends in death. Over time Doc’s father would fall victim to the disease and pass away. Up until then Doc spent all of his time trying desperately to find a cure for his father. Unbeknownst to his father, the disease could be inherited and Doc was also slowly dying. The night his father died, Doc confessed that he too had the disease and he would shortly be joining his father. His father made Doc promise that he would find the cure and survive. He sadly agreed to his father’s wishes, and after his death and inheriting everything he had, he moved to the quiet town of Ponyville and built a lab to continue his research. Upon arriving he finds out he is one of the six chosen elements of nature and he has the power to wield water.
