Appearance: Dogmatic is a griffin with black body feathers. He sports a scar on his left cheek that runs all the way up to his ear.

Personality: He is cold and calculating and specializes in deception. He doesn't agree with the decision to have the griffins join the pegasi and believes that griffin's should find their own place and let ponies kill each other to their hearts content. This does hold some exceptions, as he has been known to befriend pegasi and call them honorary griffins. In some cases even having affairs with pegasi mares.

Backstory: I was raised in a warrior city where you either fight or died. Advancing in this city required conquering the city's elite to prove you're stronger. My parents were killed by a group of pony thieves, and my uncle took care of me until I was 4, when he tried to protect me from another griffon, and was killed in battle, right in front of my own eyes. I became alone and had to learn fend for myself, and had steal in order to get by. I was given the scar on my left cheek at a young age while trying to steal some food. I was too slow and got caught by the griffon I was trying to steal from. He saw that I was just a kid, so instead of killing me, he left me with this scar as a reminder never to do it again. By the time I was six years old I had become fast enough to outrun any griffin I knew. At age 15 I was made a warrior and started to fight in battles against invading armies of various races, such as the minotaurs. I didn't like the ponies very much. During one battle against the minotaurs,My group of soldiers and I were being overwhelmed by an opposing force when a passing pegasus pony saw the battle and joined in to help us. I have to say, I was so impressed with her actions that when the battle was over I awarded her with the title 'Honorary Griffon.' When I was 16 I and a group of 20 griffins secretly imprisoned the leader of a large Minotaur fortress and used him to call a surrender from the Minotaurs. My involvement in the Minotaur war was what gave me most of the pull I have in the griffin community, although it also makes me a very hated figure among Minotaurs. At age 20 I heard about the disapperance of the pony princesses, but I didn't car about it. At that time a lot of ponies who wanted to get away from everything came to Dogmatown (the name of the city after the Minotaur wars). Although I let only a few inside, It soon bacame known that I had romantic affairs with a few. I didn't like it when the griffins joined forces with the Stormwing clan, but I decided it would be better if I kept my beak shut. I also decided that if I could get in with the Storwings I could convince the ponies to leave us Griffons alone.
