Backstory: Dream was born in a rich family in Canterlot. As a member of a noble family, he had obligations. So much obligations. He always played along, that was his duty after all. But one day, it became too much for him. Dream wanted to use his imagination, to dream. He decided to run away. Thay's how he ended up in a little town called ponyville. There, he did some little jobs to earn money. Later on he bought a house and became an official ponyville citizen. Now he still works there as a novel writer. And because of his huge imagination, he became quite succesfull.
