Personality: Courageous, fun-loving, stubborn, heroic, spacey, perky, energetic hot-tempered.

Backstory: Her parents lived not too far from the Canterlot Castle. They were poor and were just getting by, but it wasn't always easy. However, when their daughter was born, things actually got better for them. Because of their new child, her father got a raise, which made is possible for her mother to stay home and watch her. However, after the baby was born, they had no clue what to name her. So they just call her "filly" because that's what she was the time. <br /><br />When "Filly" got to be 2 years old, while playing outside alone, she discovered her father shack,and saw the many swords inside them, she picked up and started playing with them, she flung them around like a real professional. She showed her mother her skills and she was flabbergasted that she knew how to do that at such a young age. At that moment, she had gotten her cutie mark. Her mom brought her a plastic sword later, for her to practice for safety precautions.<br /><br />It wasn't until one day while she was practicing her sword skills outside when she was the Princess leaving for a day and the Guards and Knights that surrounded her, as they leave. Most people would be in awe of seeing the Princess, but "filly" just gawked at the guards. They were magnificent with their armour, headgear, and big shiny swords, just like the one she found. At that moment, she new what she wanted to be when she grew up-a female royal guard.<br /><br />Her parents were a little skeptical at first, mostly because she was a girl, and they were certain they wouldn't hire her. But "Filly" was certain that that's hat she wanted, and that, along with her amazing sword skills, were enough to convince them that she was serious about this. So they began to train her and taught her everything they knew about being a guard, for being there for years they've seen them do a lot of things. Her mother even changed her name to Dunn Loring to give her a more royal knight-ish feel.<br /><br />After Dunn Loring got older, after years and years of rigorous training, she attempted to go up to see the Princess herself and asked her permission to help protect her. The other guards laughed and thought it was a joke, but the Princess saw potential in her. Because of that she gave Dunn Loring the usual knights test. She was confident she had it, but she quickly learned the test was harder than she predicted, and failed. The Princess, felt sorry for her, and promised her that she can come back when she gets a little stronger, and had more experience in the field.<br /><br />At that Dunn Loring moved to Ponyville to continue her self-training, still remembering everything her parents taught, but she decided that she wouldn't talk to them until she's finally a royal guard. She waned to make them proud,and she'll stop at nothing to get there.
