Backstory: Dusk Shimmer is the daughter of Dark Moon and Sunset Shimmer. Though her mother lives in the "Human World" Dusk was born on a visit to Equestria. Twilight realized her talent and became Dusk's caretaker. Dusk grew up around the mane 6 and their families, becoming a talented unicorn who had great knowledge of the elements of harmony and their meanings.
