Personality: Despite her torturous past Ebony is surprisingly kind and gentle in nature when she is not on the battlefield and very much acts like a pacifist. She makes a surprisingly wonderful friend to have and is very protective of those she holds dear. Her serene nature and honesty has earned her the friendship and trust of many of her friends, and the affection of others. From her humble origins in the plains, Ebony has been noted as a deep, caring, and kind-hearted soul. She rarely thinks ill of others and despite the circumstances, always believes on the best of things. However, because of the slaughtering of her tribe due to bloodthirsty Bandits, she has a great hatred toward all bandits, pirates and criminals and refuses to be associated with them unless needed to. In fact, the motivation for her travels was to become stronger and kill each and every Bandit in the mountains in order to avenge her parents. However, she does show mercy to any brigand or pirate that does not harm mares or fillies or colts, though does not hesitate to defend her friends from them nevertheless. She will kill anypony who attempts to kill or have killed any of her friends or loved ones without any mercy, showing her bravery and devotion toward revenge. When around friends and allies Ebony is calm, composed, and kind. But when facing criminals and evildoers her kind and gentle nature completely disappears and her personality changes to that of an abrasive killer bent on cutting her enemy down.

Backstory: Ebony is a headstrong and revenge-driven mare. Born in the desert Plains, Ebony's parents were of an ancient tribe. But they were killed by bandits when she was a filly. She lived alone until she decides to follow her interest of training her sword skills and avenging her tribe, who were all killed by bandits. Upon the death of her family and tribe she became a freedom fighter living in the plains vowing to protect the innocent and avenge the acts of evildoers everywhere and bring them to justice.
