The cutie mark itself is a lightning bolt being painted, with a book and quill covering it.

Personality: Electra is a kind and out going Princess, she is often found roaming around ponyville, Greeting all of the fillies and colts and checking up on and admiring the local artists work, but when she's by herself, she gets a bit lonely, and She is a very thoughtful and imaginative pony.

Backstory: Electra was born an alicorn, but woke up one night in the everfree, with no home and no idea where she was or what she was going to do, she wandered until she came to Canterlot, and During The night, which was under Luna's careful watch, she was spotted by The lunar princess, who sensed the poor Filly's loneliness and fear, and took her in. Luna hid Electra from her sister, worried that Celestia would reject Electra for possibly upsetting the delicate balance of the kingdom in which the two sisters ruled. Electra grew up in the castle, hiding from Celestia, until the fateful day when Luna rose up against her sister. Electra watched the whole fight, and did nothing, for she knew if she unleashed the power of her lightning, she ran the risk of hurting her adoptive mother. After the battle was over and luna sent away, Celestia found Electra gazing up at the stars that night, Especially at the moon. Celestia did not ask questions, but only comforted the Now orphan alicorn. Celestia continued to raise Electra, and Announced to all of equestria that Electra was the new princess of the arts when Electra's cutie mark came. As Electra traveled Equestria, her favorite became ponyville, as some of the most creative artists were found there. When Luna returned, The two were reunited by Celestia and Their bond was mended, Ever since then, all three of the alicorns lived in the Canterlot castle together happily.
