Appearance: Scrawnier and a head shorter than most other ponies. He is rather plan looking because of his dull grey coat, his only real distinguishing features being his cutie mark and his amber eyes.

Cutie Mark: A nebula with a few newly formed stars peaking through. It's supposed to represent his passion for stargazing, but he never uses any of his astronomical knowledge ever due to his circumstances.

Personality: A bit cocky and arrogant most of the time, mostly as a front to bluff others. He is very manipulative as a result, mostly for the sake of his own personal survival. Though most of the times, he tries to be a kind individual, even when it doesn't benefit him. He has a very odd sense of humor, often time using puns and making references often times when it is inappropriate to do so. Cosmo is very cowardly when things don't go according to plan, he often times falls back and reassess the situation before heading back in. Though he makes up for these faults by having incredible charm, he is able to make friends with almost everyone he comes across without even trying. <br /><br />He also suffers from a condition called, magical enervation, which has effected him from birth. This causes his magic to react oddly when casting magic, often times causing massive migraines. While there is medication to help relieve the migraines and balance out his magic, there is no cure. Simply using magic causes a great deal more stress on him since his magic is so unbalanced. <br /><br />He tends to get really awkward when other ponies talk about their cutiemarks, since he was never able to pursue the talents of his cutiemark, often times having angry outbursts. <br /><br />Cosmo is also prone to motion sickness, as he is not accustomed to traveling.<br /><br />He can practically make himself invisible among even the smallest crowds, and can make himself vanish when he steps into the shadows. Heck he can basically hide in plain sight if need be. Years of crime have made him incredibly talented at sneaking around, almost on par with ponies who's talents are that of stealth.

Backstory: Elysian or "Cosmo" as he prefers to be called, is your typical common petty thief who lived the entirety of his in poverty on the streets of Manehatten. Cosmo took to crime when he was only just foal in order to help feed his starving family, after his father lost his job and his mother left. Crime to Cosmo always seemed to be a temporary thing, with his youthful dream of becoming an astronomer and making so much money. However he was never able to afford to make those dreams come true, dooming him to poverty forever. He tried earning an honest living by enlisting in the special operations division of the royal guard with the help of a childhood friend, which worked out for him. However he was discharged a year in, after a dispute with other officers over a moral dilemma, which resulted in him getting into a fight with one of the senior officers leading to an untimely discharge. <br /><br />After being dishonorably discharged he was cast back into the slums, with no home, and no way to make an honest living. He went back to stealing, only time this more efficiently as a result of his training with the guard. This attracted the attention of some local crime syndicates, which ended with him being recruited into one of the most influential mobs in Manehatten. As a crook for hire, Cosmo was able to make a comfortable living but was forever forced to live a life of crime. He did countless heists for the mob robbing everything from jewelry stores to a few small banks all across the city. After a failed attempt at stealing from a rich noble, he was quickly tracked down by the Equestrian Knights. To avoid being arrested he fled Equestria, hoping to find a way to start a new life and has been a wanted criminal ever since. <br /><br />Cosmo is rather ill-traveled compared to most other ponies as a result of his life's circumstances. The only times he was ever to make it out of the city was when he was still just a foal and before his mother left. His mother would take him on a trip to a small town outside deep in the most rural parts of Equestria. At nights Cosmo and his mother would go stargazing, which is how he got his cutiemark. His cutiemark however, is a rather touchy subject. Not only because of his mother leaving him at a young age, but because he was never able to pursue his talent. He is extremely jealous of the other ponies who able to "luck out" with their marks since he was never given the opportunity himself. When other ponies talk about their marks on occasion it makes him very defensive, and results in him having angry outbursts. <br /><br />With his magic messed up the way it is, spell casting was always rough on Cosmo. It wasn't until his time in the guard that he was able to cast and use magic without him nearly collapsing each time. Through his special ops training he's learned a diverse range of spells, deemed forbidden from typical use by law. His particular specialty is illusion magic, where he excels at manipulating the emotions of others through unnatural means. After he was released from the guard Cosmo frequently abused these magics to commit his robberies with ease. Though despite having complete control over these new spells, using magic still drains him rather quickly. <br /><br />
