Appearance: Dark brown, almost black stallion with flame-coloured mane and tail, and grey eyes.<br /><br />Although not pictured, he has a dark grey cloak he often wears.

Cutie Mark: A flame. Ember Blast is an earth pony and thus has a natural connection to nature. In particular he can control fire.

Personality: Stoic and quiet. He might not talk much with his friends, but he'll defend them to the death.

Backstory: Ember Blast lived long ago.<br /><br />His father was a Unicorn and his mother an Earth Pony. He was raised in the White Tail Woods by his parents who were survivalists.<br /><br />After his parents were killed by Timberwolves, he organized a posse to destroy the White Tail Woods' timberwolf population, which later historians would note was the first step towards the White Tail Woods becoming such a pleasant woodland area.<br /><br />In pursuit of more timberwolves, he moved to a small village near the edge of the Everfree Forest, not far from where Ponyville now stands. (Though this was before Ponyville existed.) He eventually realised that his vendetta against the timberwolves was pointless, and is now working as an apprentice blacksmith.<br /><br />He'll still venture into the Everfree Forest from time to time, and has become quite familiar with the best places to forage for food, or safely stay the night. He doesn't go specifically looking for timberwolves, but if they find him, he relishes the opportunity to remove another timberwolf from the world.
