Appearance: A vibrant green unicorn with a tall but slightly chubby build. His purple mane is wild and unkempt, and his tail is longer than most stallions'. His eyes are a deep violet.

Cutie Mark: A pair of theatre masks (one with a happy face, one with a sad face), representing his love for acting.

Personality: Emerald is very bright and energetic, ever the social butterfly. Constantly cracking jokes, and ever looking on the positive side of things. However, he put on a completely different demeanor should the need arise; he is an actor, after all. Though he may seem clueless at times, he is usually very aware of what is going on around him.

Backstory: Ever since Emerald could remember, he had loved the theatrical arts. He lived for the thrill of being up on stage and performing his thing. He loved being able to be whoever he wanted, to be in the middle of something big.<br /><br />But the acting never came close to the real thing. No matter how many roles he played, it was still just an act, and at the end of the day he was still just a normal teenage guy. He longed for real adventure, without the costumes and the lies.<br /><br />And one day, adventure just happened to cross his path. As he was walking home from school one day, he noticed an unearthly light glowing from the trunk of a tree. Sensing adventure, he was immediately drawn to it. It seemed like a large gash had opened itself in the tree out of nowhere, and light kept pouring from it. Entranced, he slowly raised his hand and placed a finger over the crevice...
