Appearance: She's got a pretty strong build, and is mistaken for a colt sometimes because of this. However she still has rather feminine features. You can say her build would be that of a female Shining Armor's. Her wings are slightly bigger than most pegasi's, and she's a bit taller than the average pony, but only a bit. She's almost always wearing her harness.
Cutie Mark: A heart shaped gemstone with a sword in front of it.
Personality: She's extremely selfless and kind. She's a bit of a pushover, too. But she can be described as a gentle giant. She's pretty strong but sometimes doesn't know her own strength. She'd much rather use body language to communicate than talk, and with that is also more of a listener than a speaker. She's sort of introverted and is a wallflower for the most part. She can easily be described as laid back, as well, however she does have her crazy emotional outbursts on random occasions.

She gets extremely protective of those she's cares about, and can shed off that laid-back exterior in one second if you hurt her friends or family. When angry she can get pretty vicious. Her friends know her to be humorous and extremely generous.
Backstory: Is the youngest mare in her family out of two. She was raised on Hayward Cove, a beachy town on the other side of the Everfree forest. She was the first of her class to get a cutie mark after saving her friend who nearly drowned. Her special talent is helping and saving others.

With her older sister Chrysocolla Chimes, she would do a lot of theatre in Manehattan. Both of them enjoy singing and acting. Chrysocolla's special talent is musical therapy, in which she uses music to heal ponies of certain spells and other ailments.

Serenity also draws and often tells foals in town stories using her drawings. It was a shock to her family that her special talent was not drawing. Unfortunately for them, helping others and telling stories doesn't exactly bring bits into the home, so they often give Serenity a hard time for that.

When she finally got to high school, she knew her dream was to become a Paladin in Canterlot. Her friends and family constantly doubted her, saying that getting a job in the Canterlot Castle, or in Canterlot itself was practically impossible to do. The competition was too fierce, but Serenity tries her hardest anyway.

She finally got a job as a simple maid in the castle, which surprised her family and friends, and she's now trying her best to get into the fighting unit of Canterlot. She's made friends with a few of the soldiers, but most of them just mock her and scoff at her. They think her idea of becoming a Paladin is ridiculous, especially since she's a mare and not a colt.
