Appearance: Faraday Flask has a sleek, but athletic, black body with purple and lavender mane and tail and some around his muzzle with gray freckles. He wears four gold bands as they are mementos of his father's. He has green lizard-like eyes. His voice is raspy but kind and insecure.

Cutie Mark: His cutie-mark is a small erlinmeyer flask filled with pink liquid. It symbolizes his obsession for science, experimenting and looking at the world logically.

Personality: He is very cowardly, shy, humble and unassertive. His heart truly lies in discovering natural mysteries, anything else and he is usually inept. He is very unlucky. He is absolutely hopeless at magic, but insists on trying as often as possible. He also tends to becomes easily obsessed on his projects and never considers if they are dangerous until he is done with them. In this Mad Scientist mode, his morality tends to become very fuzzy.

Backstory: He is not a changeling, but his father was. Never knowing this, he has found fitting in very trying and is often discriminated against for being so very different. He eventually guessed the truth but was too cowardly to actually confirm his changeling heritage from his mother.<br />His mother encouraged his inquisitive side and as a result he found himself indulging in long periods of reading, experimentation and thinking.
