Backstory: As a little filly she always loved playing in her imaginary worlds filled to the brim with colorful and bright characters. some of these characters even became imaginary friends who followed her in her every day life. Soon she and her parents found she had a profound ability to form these worlds into stories and the odd depths of character her imaginary friends had. Her parents decided the best way to put these talents to use was to turn her focus towards the type writer.

For a long time she couldn't look at her own writing, destroying pretty much anything she could pull out of that type writer. Eventually she gave up on writing in general.

One day though, while she was spending time with a friend, something clicked. Something in her mind just started making the gears turn and she couldn't stop herself from running home to start writing. She was up all night writing, eventually falling asleep on her type writer. When she woke up she found a quill, ink and a note from her mother, it read. "Here's a quill and some ink. Hopefully next time you won't have to come running home leaving your friend so upset." She took the quill and ink excitedly, causing a sudden flash of light. Her cutie mark had appeared.

After a few years in Baltimare growing and learning her art form, she decided her best chance of fulfilling her dream was to move to Canterlot, have her books published and learn from the other authors there. Soon she scrounged up enough money and left to learn from the best and brightest in the craft. Though eventually she found life in the royal city to be more difficult then she had expected, and the popular authors there were definitely not what she expected.
