Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is a flame, representing determination and a occasional flaring temper. Fire Opal received his cutie mark while away from his family, practicing the many spells he had come to learn and practice.<br /><br />Fire Opal grimaced as his horn began to glow a brilliant red, the pain from the energy leaving him unbearable. He quick blast of heat ran through his body, but this didn't bother him, he was focused on completing the spell. His horn glowed ever brighter as heat radiated from it, signifying that he was almost ready to complete it. A giant jet of fire exploded from his horn, circling in the air above. The plummeted to the earth moments later, and on impact with the ground, the fire did not burn the soil Fire was standing on, but it grew larger, in a circle in the ground. Then a symbol appeared in the ground, a symbol that looks much like 火, a foreign character for fire. At the moment, Fire Opal did not know what it meant, but his sights weren't focused on it quite yet. He was looking at his flank, which was no longer blank.

Personality: Fire Opal is a relatively neutral unicorn, but when angered, he gets quite angry, and can perform quite dangerous spells. He almost never gives up, always wanting to try again. He can get in trouble when he sees things differently.

Backstory: Fire Opal grew up in Ponyville as a normal unicorn, and as life went along, he secretly studied a book about magic, or more specific, magic that includes the works of fire. Eventually, as his life continued, he began becoming more and more anxious for his cutie mark. He decided to leave his family and any other ponies for a period of time so he could try and find his cutie mark. He suspected it was related to fire, but he had yet to find out.<br /><br />(See Cutie Mark section)<br /><br />Eventually, Fire Opal returned to his family, but soon enough, he left again. He decided to live his life on his own, to continue practicing the arts of fire inside the Everfree Forest.
