Appearance: Firetorn is a yellow pegasus pony with crimson red hair which is messy and flame-like. Her eyes are red and her mane and tail have orange highlights.

Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is a lit Zippo-style lighter. It signifies her talent with starting fires and fire dancing.

Personality: Firetorn also has a fiery personality to match her name and talent. She is quick to anger and prefers the ask questions later approach to situations. She is however quite intelligent, she simply lets her gut instincts take over most of the time. Firetorn is often impatient with others but is herself quite good at making split second decisions on the fly, making her the one in groups to get things done. Firetorn is not romantic, having no experience or interest in the matter.

Backstory: Firetorn was born and grew up in Cloudsdale. She was somewhat of a bully in her childhood, often getting in trouble at flight school. Others were often driven off by her aggressive and impatient personality, leaving her with few real friends. Beginning when she was a filly sitting in from of the fireplace, she felt a strange attraction to flames. She took to spending her time alone (she had plenty of this) playing with fire, becoming quite good at lighting things. She liked how quickly the flames caught and burned through the wood and also loved the look of the flames as she waved them through the air. Having this knack for lighting things on fire from a young age (something which got her into even more trouble) Firetorn became interested in fire dancing and incorporating flight with fire. She eventually earned her cutie mark when she put on a one pony fireworks display at the summer sun festival, shocking everyone as she had kept her love of fire private until then. Now that she has matured, Firetorn's personality has not changed much and she has set off on her own, to further her skills and prove herself across Equestria, hoping to one day perform for the princesses in Canterlot.
