Flare Blitz (Blitzy)

Species: Pegasus

Appearance: She is a dark red colour; her hooves fade out to a lighter red. Her ears are quite large, more-so than the normal size, but not by too much. Her mane is a light orange, the tips fading out to darker shades. All in all, she is rather small and quite short as well for her age. (Not filly-like, obviously, but just a *fraction* smaller than an average pegasus).

Cutie Mark: A wing with a flame on it - this is to symbolise both her sharp flying ability (though it can be argued that was simply because of the time she spent in Flight School) and her uncanny way of setting objects on fire (usually from travelling so quickly.)

Personality: Flare is fast-thinking and quick on her feet. She loves to make friends, and is not shy to go up to new people and introduce herself heartily. She is fairly confident. However, she is stubborn and argumentative, heavily sarcastic and can often hurt others because of her rash attitude. She also sometimes has a hard time listening to others if it doesn't interest her, and can be a little of a klutz. Regardless, she is a decent friend who will try hard to make you happy as long as you treat her right. She loves to read and write, hates numbers (they make her angry, even) and has a distinctive love for fruits, namely pineapple.

Backstory: Flare is a pegasus who resided in Cloudsdale - she lived there for the duration of her life, with her father; her mother passed away (through sudden, though natural causes), and so did the child she was set to have in the process. Flare would often attempt to help her father man the weather, but would often fail and so decided to stay home alone more often than not. She grew up quickly due to having to fend for herself, but her father was still loving and attentive. Eventually, when she was old enough to go into the world on her own, she (somewhat reluctantly) left her father in the East side of Cloudsdale and moved the West to attend a flight school to stabilise her clumsy wings. Once through with her practices, she went to Ponyville and currently leads a pretty normal life. She still, to this day, visits her father fairly regularly.
