Appearance: (Pre-Possession) He has a long red mane, which hangs straight down his face. His body is a pale white, and he has eyes of blue. He has a rather kind face, and is rather thin, but tall. His tail is very bushy, and also bright red. (Post-Possession) Usually has an evil grin plastered on his face, and slowly being engulfed in black flame, the spirit feeding on his very essence.

Cutie Mark: A red flash of magic. Representative of his talent with magic, particularly that of light and fire.

Personality: (Pre-Possession) Very kindhearted, and an inexperienced ruler. As such, he relies a lot on support of his closest friends. (Post possession) Very elegantly evil. He has lost all free will, falling to a spirit which preys on the bad aspects of him. He is a mere shell at this point, the spirit leading him. The spirit, known as Sin, is very power-hungry and violent, and very close minded to that goal. He wants to get as much enjoyment out of this world as possible, before draining it completely.

Backstory: A young noble from the Discord Era, he managed to overthrow Discord very briefly from the throne of Equestria. It did not last, however. He was slowly maddened by the power, and started to become a tyrant. At this point, a spirit of evil, taking the name of Sin, fought him for control of his mind. Flare lost, and was thrown in the back of his mind, Sin taking the reigns. The people of Canterlot rebelled, and he was overthrown. Discord took this chance, and re-seized control, along with a unicorn named Topaz, who was never seen afterwards. Sin was sealed away, but his seal has been weakening...
