Cutie Mark: Inkwell's cutie mark is that of a lady bug beneath a magnifying glass, it was a reminder of his first 'scientific' discovery as a young colt. It also displays his keen observational skills and outstanding knowledge of biology.

Personality: Flint Inkwell prefers to study in his lab or conduct research, rather than 'hang out' with others. He by no means shies away from others, but is often seen as awkward in social situations (most likely a result of his upbringing). His views are also somewhat controversial to most, but he is steadfast in his 'logical' and 'educated' opinions and judgments.

Backstory: Inkwell was a young earth pony born in Canterlot to a well known unicorn family. As an earth pony, it was a difficult and often stressful occasion to live up to his families expectations. With many sisters and brothers to take up the family profession, as nobles' scribes and assistant, his parents never invested much time in him and his interests or upbringing.<br /><br />Inkwell abandoned his family at 16 in an attempt to avoid being a life-time servant to any noble, and pursue his own lifelong interest in studying Biology. This was something his parents had originally objected to.<br /><br />Inkwell had quickly made his way into the Royal Canterlot University, where over a remarkably short period of time, received his doctorate's in the broad study of biology. He is currently studying multiple fields to enhance his study.
