Cutie Mark: The cutie mark is an ice heart with mint colored snowflakes on the lower left corner, and the upper right corner. The cutie mark's heart is symbolic for the term, "Keeping heart" which means to keep hope. She kept heart when Frostine was trying to cast the wintery spell. The snowflakes represent the aftermath of her ice spell.
Personality: She is a hot tempered unicorn, loyal to her friends, and a book worm.<br />
Backstory: Frostine was abandoned in the woods as a newborn by her wicked parents because she was a unicorn, and not a pegasus. A few minutes later, Princess Cadence was taking a walk in the woods, admiring the scenery, feeding small birdies. But to her surprise, she heard a faint crying, it wasn’t a bird, nor was it the wind, but a newborn foal. Shocked, she quickly took the filly to her home. (Know that this was long before she married Shining Armor and ruled the Crystal Empire.) She fostered the foal for a while. Though, no-pony would adopt her. All unicorn foals are known to have small outbursts of magic, but Frostine’s outbursts weren’t small. She had blasted massive ice beams, freezing walls, and creating small flurries. Since no-pony had adopted her, Cadence decided to adopt her. Cadence took Frostine under her wing, teaching her to control her magic, and put it to good use. Once she learned to control her magic, she was able to help in a large way during the bringing of Winter to Equestria, thus earning her cutie mark.. She was able to create flurries using her magic, and was the first unicorn to help in her way. Frostine LOVED learning. She was an absolute bookworm. And with all of this learning, she learned more spells other than ice magic. When the Crystal Empire was created, Cadence taught her daughter kingdom management, if she ever were to rule a kingdom of her own. “I didn’t know I would have to protect and rule a kingdom all by myself, and it took me by surprise. I want to make sure ruling doesn’t take you by surprise,” Cadence always said to her daughter.
