Personality: Frozen Gem, despite her carefully styled mane and makeup, is not as girly as one may think. She actually enjoys exploring, looking for new ways to apply her special talent to her shop. Because she is not as uptight or shallow as most Canterlot ponies, Frost prefers to spend her time on the outskirts of the city. She is a little shy when first meeting new people.

Backstory: Although her hometown is Canterlot, Frozen Gem was born in the Crystal Empire while her parents were there on vacation. She was raised by a small family consisting of her parents and weekly visits by her grandparents. After she earned her cutie mark (see above), Frost grew more caring about her education and soon graduated from her local school as a jewelry maker. When she turned 17, she took charge of her parents' shop, while they moved to retirement. Her cutie mark represents enhancing jewels.
