Cutie Mark: A heart surrounding green leaves, representing that her heart beats with the trees. She earned her mark when she planted a sapling and understood what it needed when it needed it.

Personality: Normally very serious, but sometimes she isn't. Gaia tends to overthink things, and is silent often. She has an unusual connection to trees, so mostly she likes to be in groves by herself. She rarely tells ponies that she can understand trees on a higher level, but when she does it means she really likes that pony. She's slow to trust, though.

Backstory: Living on the outskirts of Vanhoover, she was always surrounded by trees. Her mother was a librarian and her father was a business stallion, and he was always traveling. Because her mother was a librarian, she had a love of books and liked to read in a nearby grove. One day she saw a seed and planted it, and tended to it. She always seemed to know what the sapling needed and when it no longer needed it. One day tending to the tree she received her cutie mark without even knowing it until she got home and her mother pointed it out to Gaea.<br /><br />Gaea continued to live in Vanhoover for many years, until she realized that her skill with trees could be used all over. She now travels Equestria tending to trees.
