Appearance: He has a pristine white coat and a blue mane and tail, both with a tinge of white to them. His eyes are also a sparkling blue and he has a blue tornado for a cutie mark.

Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is a blue tornado and it represents his naturally powerful wings and flight power. It also represents his utter love for the wind.

Personality: He is narcissistic and cynical, often making sarcastic remarks at other ponies. He has a mixed personality, preferring to be alone at times yet social at others. In his alone time he loves to simply glide through the sky, riding on the wind. He has few friends and those he does have he's rather indifferent towards. He's often nervous about trying new or different things.

Backstory: He earned his cutie mark when he was younger. He was a timid flyer and often was too afraid to fly anywhere. His parents were getting worried that he may never fly and so his father eventually took him out and attempted to give him flying lessons. His father worked in vain for weeks and eventually gave up on Gale, accepting that he will never fly. Gale, ashamed and embarrassed that he couldn't fly, started his own secret lessons of his own, where he would climb into nearby trees and then jump out, hoping to fly. After many attempts and an equal amount of failures, Gale had given up. He had fallen on his face enough times and was ready to stop trying all together, when a sudden powerful gust of wind blew by, literally picking the younger Gale off of his hooves and into the air. Gale, now up very high, was afraid and covered his eyes, knowing that the only way to save himself would be to fly. At that moment he spread his wings in a desperate attempt to save himself, and flew. To this day Gale cannot thank the wind enough and this may be where his love for wind stems from.<br /><br />After learning his natural talent of flight, his father enrolled him in the Cloudsdale Flying Academy. There he honed his skills and learned like every young pony does. He graduated with less than stellar marks despite being a gifted flyer. The marks were a result of his simple lack of care for school and often showing up late. His father, annoyed and ashamed of these marks from his son, paid to have him sent away to a gifted flyers camp, where they again trained him and honed his skills. He dropped out six months into the camp and left Cloudsdale for Ponyville, where ponies weren't always in his face over little things like his father did.
