Personality: General Wo Dao is cocky and arrogant and self-glorifying. He desires to impose fear on others to make himself feel more powerful. He takes pleasure in killing but often decided instead to give ponies near-irreversible injuries.

Backstory: General Wo Dao is the leader and founder of the Shinko-ryū "school" of kenjutsu - an organization whose purpose is to revitalize Japanese kenjutsu through force. Having conned his way into the good graces of a wealthy family, He seeks to fund his organization and crush anypony who stands in his way. As a warrior fighting against the pacification of Equestria, Wo Dao attempts to build an army of the most powerful bandits to rebel against the new Equestrian government. He saves a young colt of a rich family, in order to acquire the resources to build his army.<br /><br />General Wo Dao's fighting style Shinko Ryu has the ability to create a long distance attack that travels through the air with the force of his Katana. This attack injures the young colt's arm to an extent the nerves are permanently damaged. Wo Dao and his plot of rebellion are later defeated by Crimson and taken into custody by the police.
