Appearance: Golden has a light gray body with a horn that is colored golden. His horn is longer than most, and his mane covers the entire left side of his face.

Cutie Mark: Golden's cutie mark is a book. It comes from when he got into his parent's shelf of spellbooks, grabbed one, and in a couple hours, showed that spell off to his parents at the age of five.

Personality: Golden is a bookworm, and is seldom seen without reading a book. Because of this, he knows a large amount of spells. On the other hand, he's willing to try his spells out on anyone willing, no matter what the risks are. He is also very troubled, always thinking about how he could die any second. He never shows this to anyone.

Backstory: Golden's parents were unicorns from Canterlot, where they enrolled him in Celestia's gifted school for unicorns. He passed the test with flying colors, and actually skipped a grade of school. This, while probably being the right thing, hurt his self-esteem a little bit with the insults. Nevertheless, he still is one grade ahaed, and is in the high school for magic in Canterlot.
