Personality: He is somewhat shy around mares but a great stand up comic. Living in the upper class part of Manehatten can be boring for him so he likes to play pranks on the unsuspecting rich ponies that live there with him. Very giving and generous, but has a very strange look on life.

Backstory: His mother, Glory Duskshine, a unicorn, comes from a wealthy Canterlot family and his father, Guilded Charmer Sr, an earth pony, was a low payed taxi cart puller in Manehatten, when they met they feel instantly in love, and she moved to Manehatten to live with him. they had three foals, Garnish Charmer, an earth pony, Golden Charmer, another earth pony, and then the youngest, Guilded Charmer Jr, a unicorn like his mother. He grew up in the low class parts of Manehatten, but his mother took him to see the upper class areas, most often to a garden in the square, filled with colorful flowers and a huge fountain in the middle, he loved it there. when he was old enough, his grandparents payed for him to attend Celestia's magic school. To enter the school, he had to hatch a dragons egg, and when he did he met Gem, a little pink dragon, who he would eventually rely on. It was at the school that he discovered his love of pranks and comedy, when he lit himself on fire using a "cold flame" spell, causing confusing and anger when he was done, but all he could do was laugh, and gained his cutie mark. After school he moved back to Manehatten to pursue a career as a stand-up comic. At a small time gig he met his future producer Flarey Flash, who booked him gigs all over Equestria, becoming a well payed rookie with Gem the Dragon as his secretary. During one tour, his mother became very ill, he canceled the tour to go and see her. She died the day he arrived from Las Pegasus, the last thing he told him was to be happy.Since then, he has been trying to make himself happy by making others happy, donating to charities and holding benefits for ponies that need help, but has not found true happiness.
