Appearance: Guinevere's coat is a very light cream colour, whilst her flowing mane and tail are both chamoisee (light brown) with fallow (lighter brown) highlights. Her eyes are a pale, pistachio green. She is a standard size for a mare.
Cutie Mark: A croissant with a light chocolate drizzle across the top.
Personality: Possessing a natural air of sophistication about her, Guinevere can be quite affable and polite to anypony she greets. Her charm lies not only in her modesty, but in her elegant tongue that seems to give importance to even the most trivial of matters. Indeed it is the little things in life that she enjoys the most, admiring each moment as it passes by.

Much like her work, at her center is a softness that would that would ease even the hardest of heart, a trait which can be seen by any and all. In this, and also due to her cultured background, she is accepting and appreciative of anyone who shows mutual respect. Those that do not are met with verbal cutlery, as 'twere, as her soft interior is encrusted by a burnt exterior giving off a smoking passion.

All in all, Guinevere just wants to enjoy the simplicities of life, and wishes that others could do the same. For her, a fresh pastry accompanied by a glass of wine is the perfect way to end the day.
Backstory: Born in Mare-is, Prance, Guinevere spent most of her childhood growing up in one of Prance's most alluring attractions: the restaurant. Her parents, both culinary artists, sought to instill in their daughter the same excitement they found in their work. For the most part, this meant a lot of time watching her parents immersed in cooking, and the occasional interaction with the diners. Whilst she did admire how such a variety of worldly ponies were drawn to one place, she never quite felt satisfied with the dishes they were being served. To her, the diners needed a warmer, softer touch. So rather than watching her parents, she befriended the patissier (pastry chef), whose artistic discipline with sophisticated chocolates and petite fours delighted her.

It was shortly after that she attempted to create her first baked good. Years of observation served her well, for she was able to recreate her favourite pastry with ease: the chocolate croissant. With some anxiety, she allowed the patissier to taste test her work, but her worries vanished on the spot as the chef seemed to melt from its delectability. The sight filled her with a novel warmth as she realized this was a feeling she wanted to spread, and was determined to spread for her life to come.

Over time, Guinevere accrued a myriad of recipes with which to appease diners, and had become an artist in her own right. In search of new tastes with which to experiment, and to share her own, Guinevere eventually left Mare-is to head West. Her final destination came to be Canterlot, where it was said only the finest of cuisine was made. It is here where she currently resides as owner of her own bakery, Pâtisserie, incorporating ever-evolving flavours into her work and bringing the same warmth to others that she manages to find in life.
