Backstory: Born in the caves inside Everfree Forest Hex Valentine grew up til his teenage years in the forest. Eventually stumbling into Ponyville he wasn't accepted greatly due to his Bat background. He stayed for his adulthood and learned how ponies lived and took up their language. Living their way of life, peacefully, side-by-side with the others.
