Appearance: A small young griffon with fiery red head, wings, lion tail,golden body and black front eagle talons. His eyes are the color of amber, imprinting boldness even at creatures older than him. There is a small scar that he got from slamming head first into trees on his dark gray beak. His wings are rather small and the puffing flame red feathers on his head gives him a rowdy look. Around his left talon tied a dark blue spherical gem that he considered his treasure.

Personality: He is annoying and mischievious, deliberatly being a pain and ignoring all the glares that were shot at his way. Hardly thinks first before doing or saying something. Ignorant of the surroundings around him as a habit to pretend that he wasn't neglect. If somebody insults him, he wouldn't think before he just claw the pony up, no matter what kind of backgrounds they have. There are few that he can get along with or like, but he is pretty obedient toward them. However, if the creatures he like are beating somebody up, he wouldn't mind to cheer or maybe go ahead to scratch them up. Sometimes ponies will pity and grow soft on him, but soon they will realize that he really deserve a beating. For most of the time he is loud mouthed, making troubles, not listening to anything everybody says. Often can be completely dumb in not seeing the obvious, making creatures wonder if he has IQ or not.
Backstory: He was raised by his older sister since their parents died. In order to feed both of them, his sister set out to find work in other and leave Hurl in the flock's charge. However, griffons are not the kind to care for the fledgling that are not theirs. Not to mention how Hurl turns out to be a genius flyer at young age, scaring the other griffons. Instead of recognizing his potentials, they feared him. So Hurl was thrown around between families, not receiving any descent cares. From the constant neglects, he angrily and horribly decided to just be the real trouble makers and let other griffons fear him. At the end, nobody Thus, the flock is more determined that he is nothing but a monster. At the end, instead of saying that everybody fears him, it's more like everybody deliberatly isolates and ignores him. Finally, the flock decided to let the ponies take care of him, abandoning him at the Summer Camp.
