Appearance: Pale blue fur, two tone blue mane and tail. Eyes are teal, is that how you spell that? I think so. Four feet, eight inches tall and weigh about two hundred and forty-four pounds. I like wearing simple but comfortable clothing, not including my guard gear. More often than not, you'll see me wearing a deep indigo starry cloak. Its my favorite, I believe my sister got it from Rarity's boutique in Canterlot. She's a very talented mare.

Cutie Mark: Not quite sure how to describe it though it does look kind of like a coat of arms. Regardless, it symbolizes his desire to protect the ponies he loves and his talent with what I like to call cold magic.

Personality: He's a scholar, that alone says alot about him. He loves books, loves reading them, he considers going to school a hobby and he often stays up all night and sleeps through the morning. He also wants to protect what is important to him, even if it means putting himself in danger. I mean, what does it mean to be a guard if you can't protect your loved ones.

Backstory: Oh geez, this is a big one. Here we go.<br /><br />Icicle was born on a farm northwest of the Crystal Empire, no he's not a crystal pony. His mother is a pegasus and his father is a unicorn. His little sister is a pegasus. Aside from dad, everypony has an amazing control over cold magic. Mother and sister are able to more precisely manipulate the weather and cast spells that revolve around cold. Icicle can do more or less the same without the precise weather control but because he is a unicorn, he would be able to learn more advanced spells that his sister and mother wouldn't.<br /><br />So, after a few years, Icicle finally found his calling in life after an incident with a timberwolf. He decided to leave the farm and head to Canterlot to further his study in cold magic. As a result of that, or rather, by product, he joined the royal guard. He attended school in the evenings and took night patrols. As part of an agreement that was struck with the Princesses, his sister was to be educated under the guiding wing of Princess Luna and in order to repay the favor, Icicle offered his services as a guard with no pay if he were allowed to study at Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. The end result was Icicle was given a small house in the city, Snow was allowed to learn under Luna when her schedule permitted, Icicle worked as a night guard though he was paid so he could purchase food, and he was given access to the Canterlot archives for his studies at school.
