Personality: Imperia is a passionate and driven individual however she tends to put out a very cheerful and playful face. However underneath she realizes that things in Equestria have been been getting worse ever since Luna’s return and while she respects the Elements of Harmony being able to handle these recent calamities she feels that they may not be enough alone. This is her determination for reviving the ‘Hunters of the Dark’ as she doesn’t want anypony else to have to suffer through the same kind of torcherous individuals like her father was. While she is generally kind to those she meets she definitely has a noble air to her which may come off as condescending to some although she does not intend so.<br /><br />Imperia adores Dinosaurs and often makes Grimlock’s bodies resemble various dinosaurs.

Backstory: Peria was born into the Anima family and raised by her Father, Sectus after her mother passed away during childbirth. Although ‘raised’ could be a debatable term as it was mostly the Anima family’s butler Grimlock who raised Peria. <br /><br />Sectus was a stallion with a scientific mind and the Anima had a long history of studying the soul. Although no one had noticed at the time, Sectus’s mental state had been deteriorating ever since he lost his wife and studied and toiled in an effort to bring her back in some way. This escalated until one day Sectus; believing his daughter’s soul would have some connection to his wife’s attempted to experiment on his own daughter. Grimlock tried to stop Sectus but was cut down by the experienced unicorn’s magic. Sectus, in an extremely pain procedure for Peria, succeeded to sever a small portion of Peria’s soul, creating a new entity in the process. Though Sectus did not anticipate the reaction of this new soul. It went berserk and broke from its containment and began to possess equipment in Sectus’s lab. It could control it, like a poltergeist and so it used this power to beat Sectus down.<br /><br />After falling unconscious during the procedure, Peria awoke hours later, to a ruined lab, and the lifeless bodies of Grimlock and Sectus. Terrified, she ran, away from the lab, away from her home until she could no longer run. She collapsed against a tree and it was then she noticed she had been followed. A small hovering blue flame had chased after her as she ran. Even more terrified, she screamed and asked just what the flame was. It responded with a word it had heard Peria mutter terrified in her sleep. “G...Grim….lock.”<br /><br />Years passed, and the filly Imperia turned into a mare. Her family fortune supported her and her staff made sure she was well taken care of. She had learnt much from the notes her father left behind about the soul entity created from her, which she affectionately named Grimlock in honor of her deceased caretaker. It was intrinsically connected to her and could control small objects and tools like a poltergeist while possessing them however if given a body of some kind, like a doll for example, it could animate it as if it were alive. Unfortunately she also learnt just how deranged her father had become ever since she was born.<br /><br />It was during this time that she discovered, hidden away with her father’s notes, her mother’s journal. From reading through she learnt that before marrying Sectus she was a talented warrior and member of a group of ponies called “The Hunters of Dark”. She served under a powerful Unicorn by the name of Gladius. Everyone had thought the swords pony was deceased but Peria quickly discovered the rumors of a pony similar to his description living in the Everfree Forest.<br /><br />It took her months of dangerous searching to find the now elderly Gladius and even longer to finally convince him to go along with her plan. Forming a new “Hunters of the Dark” team.
