Personality: When he was younger, Indigo was very indifferent to all characters except his sister Fuchsia Kimono whom he deeply loves and respects. As an adult, he usually wears a facade of polite happiness while talking to his comrades or others he wishes to gain their trust. He acted the same toward Crimson at first in attempt to spite him, however his true feelings are soon revealed, as Indigo shows himself to hate Crimson with his entire being, wanting nothing less than to make Crimson go through the same hell he himself went through.<br /><br />Indigo is insane, but is also quite strategic, intelligent, sadistic, and very mysterious. Persistence is one of his greatest strengths, and he is a scheming genius. He is also short tempered, unstable, clever, ruthless, vengeful, and quick to judge. For transportation methods, he uses a hot air balloon. To remember his dead sister better he keeps her diary with him at all times and often reads it.
Backstory: When Indigo was a foal, his mother died and he was raised by his older sister, Fuchsia Kimono. She raised him herself, becoming both sister and mother to him, and he grew to love her quite dearly. When Fuchsia became engaged to her fiancee, Indigo reluctantly accepted him because he truly made his siter happy and she loved him. However her fiancee later joined a group of asassins, believing that Fuchsia would be happy if he became a hero, only to be killed by Zanbato. (Crimson Katana) for the new era. Fuchsia left her brother behind to seek revenge, working with spies to do so. When he was about ten, Indigo ran away from Ponyville, disappearing for nine months. He discovered the location of Fuchsia through the a group of assassins he was with and soon appeared before her, revealing that he was their contact sent to her. While he believed that he was helping Fuchsia's revenge, he did not know Fuchisa had grown to love Crimson, despite the fact he killed her first fiancee. She sent him away, hoping to protect Crimson, leaving him angry and confused by her actions. Indigo, who became more unstable, gained a deep hatred for Crimson and swore vengeance against him for killing his sister whom he loved so much. He disappeared to Canterlot, where he was taken in by a kind and wealthy family after suffering months of hardship in the wilderness.
