Appearance: Inked Quill has a purple coat and a black mane and tail. Wearing a blue coat and a silver necklace to complement her natural colors, she styles her mane with a pair of large 'drill' curls. She always wears a saddlebag with plenty of paper and ink within, as well as several scraps of paper stuffed within various pockets.

Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is an ink-spattered book and quill, symbolizing her skill at writing both news and fiction.

Personality: She thinks on her feet and is hard to scare- however, her thirst for knowledge leads to an almost obsessive desire to collect books and various media that she has yet to read. Inked Quill tends to be very nosy as well, and always wants to know the details, the locations, the who-what-where, often growing impatient with people not as obsessed with detail as she is.<br /><br />However, she bears the scars of the disappearance of her daughter. Despite the frequent letters ensuring her that she is both alive, well, and making a decent living for herself, the fact that she doesn't know where her daughter is- or even what she's doing- makes her suspicious, curious, and not a bit scared and uncomfortable. Talking about White Rose in her presence IMMEDIATELY grabs her attention and for extended periods of time as well.

Backstory: She was raised by a pair of pillow makers known as Fluff and Stuff Pillow. Pushing herself to the limit, she completed school early and, being too young to continue to college, she began writing- having plenty of material to write with. Quickly landing herself a few small royalties, she was rapidly taken on by a prestigious newspaper company that delivered papers across Central Equestria. After writing her first book, she fell in love with and married Gammon Roulette. She had a daughter, White Rose, and wrote several more books, occasionally taking breaks to find inspiration for them, often as a news reporter or an article writer. <br /><br />However, the disappearance of her daughter sparked something within her, leading her to be more adventurous and straightforwards, if only in an attempt to find her. She's often found roaming Equestria, exploring and recording everything, as well as keeping a watchful eye out for anything that might point her to her daughter.
