Personality: Kaeser is eccentric but highly motivated, he has a sarcastic sense of humor and is not afraid to speak his opinions. Despite the fact that many of his ideals are unethical and irresponsible he is a motivational and charismatic leader who likes to look at the big picture, often ignoring the trivial details such as danger or casualties.

Backstory: Kaesar's mother had little to none influence in his life. With no siblings, Kaesar was brought up as the sole heir of his father's small but wealthy trading company. As he had no other place to go, Kaesar would join his father on his trade ship when they traveled around Equestria to sell their stock between cities. His father was often distant and only spoke to him on business matters, so the young and adventurous Kaesar grew up quickly and idependently.<br /><br />When he was twelve years old, a pirate gang boarded his father's ship while it was docked in Fillydelphia. Everypony but Kaesar was in the city below partying and chasing mares. Kaesar hid while the thieves looted the ship of anything valuable, and once they had left he trailed them to a dingy tavern. He only got close enough to overhear the location of the stolen goods before he left the bar to recover what was taken. He quickly found everything he was looking for and many other expensive treasures (undoubtedly belonging to other traders and merchants) stashed in an alley behind an abandoned warehouse. After packing every last bit into his bulging saddlebags, Kaesar pridefully left behind a letter with him and his father's names on it, admitting he had taken the stash. It wasn't till he returned to his ship that Kaesar noticed his cutie mark had appeared at some point during the escapade.<br /><br />It took the pirates another decade to hunt down Kaesar and his father using the note that had been so foolishly left behind. Their airship was smaller, but it was better fit for combat than the large clumsy trading vessel, the fight was quick. Kaesar's father and most of the crew were killed and those that weren't, including Kaesar himself, were forcibly drafted onto the pirates crew. <br /><br />It took Kaesar less than a month to plant the seeds of mutiny among the pirate crew. By the time a year had passed he had convinced a portion of the thugs to join him in putting the power into different hooves, the fight was quick, bloody, and ended with the captain's body being pitched over the side of the vessel. Not wishing to return to a life of business and trade, Kaesar stayed with the pirates. He took the role of captain and spent the next thirty years sailing the skies and living a life of crime and adventure.<br /><br />Eventually Kaesar felt the cruel hand of age on his shoulder, he said farewell to his ship and crew and settled down in Neigh Orleans where he opened a successful store buying and selling trinkets and antiques.
