Personality: He was created to be the ultimate super-weapon. However, Karas eventually became his own pony capable of having feelings for others. <br /><br />Normally, it will be silent and serious when it comes to his missions. It won't take any time to speak, as it feels as it doesn't need to. This however, does not render it incapable of expressing how it feels.<br /><br />It does however, express its feelings when it's something that matters. Such as an innocent foal or mare in danger. <br /><br />It doesn't seem to enjoy anything other than its job. Its job is the only thing that makes it happy and is practically married to its work.<br /><br />When it does speak, there are seldom times in which it will open up to others. However, it will only confide in those it can trust. <br /><br />When it does open up to others, it can be seen as a caring, yet ruthless individual whose sole purpose in life torments it utter being every day with a sick and twisted manifestation of anger and despair.<br /><br />This is why it hardly talks; to avoid accidentally hurting somepony close to it. It has buried its true anger and hatred deep down within via silence in order to focus on his sole purpose for existence.

Backstory: Karas was originally a pony named Krow. Krow was a quiet pony when he was young and grew up under the guidance of a father. Krow's father was always interested in his sole experiment: to prevent death by recreating one's state of mind into a new body, and hardly paid any attention to his kid. As Krow grew older, he/she became quieter and quieter. <br /><br />One day Krow had enough. Krow was fed up with the fact that a father wouldn't pay attention to his own foal. So Krow decided to seek a newer world on his own.<br /><br />A few month's later when Krow's father attempted to finally test his experiment. Something had gone horribly wrong. He had one tiny miscalculation that caused his soul to transfer into another body with a ruthless personality. From then on, he became even more insane, trying to figure out how to make his device work even though it did not. Once he was ridculed for making a faulty invention....he had enough. He set out on a mad crusade against pony-kind under a new name: Dr. Thanatos.<br /><br />After hearing about this crazed scientist out for blood, Krow did some digging back at home. Krow looked through her/his father's old files and found something shocking.<br /><br /><br />Krow itself....was an experiment. <br /><br />In reality. Krow was not technically Dr. T's child. However, in an experiment in which Krow's father knew his only love was dying before they even married. So, in accordance with her will, Krow's "father" put his wife-to-be-but-not-anymore in cryogenic sleep after being impregnated. She was dying, but the child would live and eventually be born as Krow.<br /><br />Krow was born and genetically altered to be a combat expert. Since Krow's father was getting old, he felt he needed a bodyguard so to speak. Against Krow's will, he programmed Krow to know and practice the art of Ninjitsu. A self-defense art. Krow was able to fight well on his own, even though he/she did not want it nor enjoy it. The experiments even including procedures such as genetically altering his DNA with cloud particles to be able to pseudo-teleport for substitution.<br /><br />Eventually once Krow's father became Thanatos, Krow attempted to stop him, but to no avail. Thanatos was too power-hungry and insane to handle, and nearly killed his own child.<br /><br />Krow found it all too much to bare. The next time he opened his eyes was in the hospital, and couldn't bare to see its father this way. Upon realizing where he was, he immediately sprang from the hospital bed, and flew away never to be seen again for 10 years.<br /><br />While away, Krow ran all over Equestria simply trying to escape his past life. However, one specific traveler caught its eye. After so long, Krow finally found an answer to its problem.<br /><br />It decided not to run away anymore. Krow wanted to return its father back to normal. And to do that, he'd have to defeat him.<br /><br />But how? It had no money no job. How would it ever survive? And then it hit it.....it could put its skill to good use in order to track its father down. After looking at a bounty board for a assistance needed, it decided to put its ninja skills to good use.<br /><br />Krow the got the name Karas as a replacement for his old identity, once it was accepted into an unknown mercenary group with the help of his ally, Rebilac.<br /><br />It now lives for no other purpose but the mission, and hoping that one day, it will be strong enough to exact its true goal: Restoring its father to the way he was. Unfortunately, until that day comes, Karas will simply live as a mercenary with his entire being haunted by his father and what he has done to innocent ponies.<br /><br />Until the day he can restore his father, he will be forever stuck with an accumulative amount of sorrow and hatred that is suppressed by lack of social contact. Who knows when the day will come...
