Appearance: Green mane, blue tail.<br /><br />Blue body.<br /><br />Black and yellow goggles.

Cutie Mark: An insect.<br /><br />Represents his talent with controlling them.

Personality: He doesn't really talk much and can be secretive. He only talks if need be, so he usually stays quiet.<br /><br />He is friendly however, and will gladly be of help to anypony.<br /><br />He likes to study and read.<br /><br />However, he doesn't usually enjoy social interaction among too many ponies at once, and he usually prefers being alone.<br /><br />Doesn't show his feelings much.

Backstory: Kevin grew up in Ponyville.<br /><br />He loved to study and go to school as a colt, and would always wear his trademark goggles. <br /><br />He didn't like being among the crowds of foals, so he almost never spoke unless he was spoken too or approached. That's what he was taught by his parents to always do, so that he would stay out of trouble.<br /><br />At school he was considered mentally ill among his classmates due to his lack of talking as much as they do. They taunted and teased him about how stupid they thought he was, but Kevin didn't care.<br /><br />The only thing he cared about, was bugs and insects. His dad was an entomologist who traveled all over Equestria to document all kinds of insect life. Kevin wanted to be just like him. He even wanted a bug collection, but could never have any luck with capturing any.<br /><br />So at school, he would ignore the teasing and continue his quiet journey to be like his father.<br /><br />One day while reading his Equestrian entomology book, he came across a weird form of insect that wasn't documented within said book. He decided to follow it around with his magnifying glass, studying its movement patters, eating habits, everything.<br /><br />As he followed it, he didn't realize that he had eventually wandered into the Everfreee forest. As the bug went up a tree, Kevin bumped his head on the trunk and looked up to see a huge hive on a branch.<br /><br />Being a curious foal, he climbed the tree, and looked closely at the hive. He crawled along the branch, and it collapsed under his weight causing both him and the hive to fall and break.<br /><br />Once the hive broke, all the bugs were released from it and were angry that their home was destroyed. From there, they were in search for another home, and mistook Kevin's mane and tail for 2 new hives. So they attached themselves to Kevin's mane and tail.<br /><br />However, the insects actually became apart of Kevin. These undocumented insects actually had the power to give their host body control over them, as long as they had a home.<br /><br />Kevin was in amazement for a split second before his mood returned to normal. He then went back home and as he slept, his bugs went crazy and ate almost all his family's food that night. <br /><br />Kevin pretended like he had no clue and spent a lot of time in secret, practicing control over his parasites. He eventually made progress. So much so, that whenever he was taunted at school, his bugs would --without warning-- swarm and bite the bullies.<br /><br />He felt really happy inside, because he had gained new friends AND his bug collection all at once. But at a price, he had to do his best to keep them under control at home. And at school, foals became even more wary of him since he was seemingly 'infested'. So he didn't have any friends at all while growing up.<br /><br />But he didn't really care, all he cared about was his bugs (which he from then on called his personal 'swarm'). And when he was old enough, began to travel all over Equestria in search of more species.
