Personality: Kyubi is somewhat shy around those she doesn't know. When she's in her own element, however, she can be extremely excitable and energetic. She is also very innovative when it comes to what she can do.

Backstory: Kyubi was born in the city of Stalliongrad to two bat ponies. While her mother was a teacher, her father worked the family farm, and she didn't really have many relatives. When she was born, however, it was soon discovered that she lacked the ability to see. Her parents were saddened by the news, but they still tried their best to give Kyubi a good upbringing.<br /><br />When she was 6, her mother began homeschooling Kyubi for fear that she may get bullied for her disability. The bat pony was a quick learner and found learning a good pass time, though she did want a few friends her age.<br /><br />As time passed, Kyubi discovered that her other senses were amplified as a result of her blindness. At the same time, she found that she could use echolocation to basically see a general depiction of her surroundings, helping to negate the effect her blindness had on her. When she was 9, the bat pony began to develop an intense interest in music and practiced in her room in her spare time.<br /><br />When she was 14, Kyubi found a friend in an earth pony mare. It didn't take long before she discovered that they both held an interest in music and both signed up with lessons. Kyubi's parents were both happy that their daughter had made a friend and knew that they wouldn't have to worry about her as much.<br /><br />When she was 19, the bat pony moved out of her home and to the small town of Ponyville. There, she became a muscician, giving small performances with either a flute or violin.
