Appearance: Lagtur is a tall, imposing figure that stands nearly high enough to look Celestia in the eye. Like most humans, he has jet-black hair and piercing red eyes. His lordly attire distinguishes himself from the rest of the human army, but is certainly not the heavy armor of leaders past—Lagtur insists that he does not need armor. His black short-sleeved shirt and deep blue working pants stand out in their fineness. He is one of few humans to wear a vest—crimson red, in his case, which marks his hunger for blood and his high status. On his head is a small golden circlet, which has a tendency to fall off in combat. Normally, the leader would wear something more intricate, but in the heat of battle this is all he can afford to wear.
Personality: Lagtur Hyphon, like the humans he leads, is like an engine fueled by hatred: put raw anger in, get pure manpower out. Unlike most of the other humans, however, he is a bit more calculating than being a straight-up berserker. Every stroke of his sword is planned, and he aims to kill. Ultimately, however, he is the embodiment of the humans' way of life: bottle your rage, prove your worth by showing your strength, and, above all, live to kill.
Backstory: Lagtur S. Hyphon grew up in the barbaric human society. Outcast on a small island in the middle of the ocean, the human population was often a problem, and the race became barbaric through various reasons: some legitimately believed killing was the best way to prove the superior rule, while others killed simply to prevent overpopulation. Eventually, the Warlord became the sole authority of the land, and killing the Warlord meant becoming the next Warlord. With a close, honorable duel, Lagtur eventually defeated the previous Warlord, and became the next—but not before a mysterious secret could be passed on...

Lagtur, who assumed a kingly identity (Leading to his pseudonym, "The King"), ruled well over his people, but he knew in his heart that his tiny rock would not satisfy his people forever. If humans were to thrive again, they needed more. Thus, expedition teams were sent out over the ocean, and eventually one came back with legends of a large country known as Equestria, populated by talking quadruped creatures that were foreign to the humans.

Suddenly filled with an immense rage, Lagtur assumed role of commander of war and plotted, then executed a great raid on Equestria. Once a small number of cities had been sieged and captured on the West coast of Equestria, Lagtur himself crossed the sea to join the siege. While he remained back at heavily guarded campsites, plotting humanity's next move, his soldiers marched onwards, fighting with all their hate against ponykind.
