Appearance: <p> Lance Trotter is an Earth Pony with a light cream coloured coat, and a dark brown scruffy mane. Has blue eyes, and dons an iron chestplate with a long handled straight sword (suitable for earth ponies to hold with their forelegs) sheathed in it's scabbard strapped to his left side. Has a saddlebag strapped to his right side. </p> <p>   </p>

Cutie Mark: <p> His cutiemark is of a map with a sword in front of it rotated to be in a diagonal positon. This represents his adventurous spirit as well as his occupation of being a freelancer. </p>

Personality: <p> He is an easygoing pony with a curious and adventurous nature, but can also make rash decisons at times. He is polite and has a willingness to help others, as well as being decisive and careful in combat. </p> <p> Lance also yearns for companionship with somepony to accompany him on his journey's, be it somepony to talk to or a lady friend. Instead he ends up travelling alone anyhow. </p> <p>   </p>

Backstory: <p> Inspired by tales of the heroes of old, a young Lance dreamt of becoming an adventurer himself. He had a regular and happy upbringing in Trottingham with his caring parents, and trained in the art of swordsmanship at an early age. </p> <p> When he came of age at 19, he left home to explore other kingdoms outside Equestria as a freelancer to lend his aid to those who needed it. After 3 years, he returned to Equestria with experience in adventuring and freelancing, and hoped to lend his sword to those who needed it in his own homeland. </p> <p> He has spent the last year travelling around Equestria as a freelancer who's been willing to help anypony in need, and still continues to do so to this day. </p> <p> His goal, to become a modern day hero... </p>
