Libby G. Wilson
By J.R.
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Species: Unicorn
Cutie Mark: Crossed bullets--displays her skills as a gunslinger.
Personality: Libby is very enthusiastic. She is always excited about her weapons and her performances. She enjoys doing them and is almost always smiling. In addition, she can also get very loud at times, and isn't afraid to shout her enjoyment.

There are times when she gets serious. If anything tries to come in between her and what she loves to do, she'll stand up for herself to keep what she wants.

However, she can be somewhat abrasive. Even accidentally. When it comes to listening, she can have some difficulty at times if she is heavily focused on her performances, or her practicing for them.

She also generally has a hard time staying focused on anything outside of her gunplay, and what she enjoys doing. Because of this, she can be a bit absent minded when it comes to most everyday things.

But overall, she's a very nice mare, however sometimes she isn't all the way down to earth.
Backstory: Libby G. was born in Apploosa to her parents. Her father was a ballistics designer for mercenaries and gunslingers. From the time she was young, Libby wanted to be as good as at gunplay as everyone whom her father sold weapons to. However, her father wasn't exactly supportive of her. In fact, he was completely against the idea of his daughter being a gunslinger. He thought it was much too dangerous.

This did not stop her, however. Libby's whole passion was into gunplay and performing. It's not as if she wanted to be some crazed gunmare like her father had feared. ...Right?

Unfortunately, with more and more magical spells being developed for unicorns to use--guns did not exactly end up selling well. In fact, no matter what Mr. Wilson tried, he could not seem to increase his sales, and eventually went bankrupt. From there, his company--Smith and Wilson Co.-- was terminated and ended up being bought out by a magical development company.

Mr. Wilson was depressed by it, and did everything he could to support his family by taking several odd jobs around Apploosa until he found work developing for the very same company for magical development that bought him out. Of course, this made him feel guilty for not being able to do what he wanted, especially for his daughter.

Libby was sad that her dad was unable to do what he wanted. However, she wasn't going to accept it lying down. She knew her father didn't bother touching his guns anymore, out of fear of them bringing bad luck after the devastation his business caused. However, Libby went ahead and snuck them out of her father's prized collection space. They were prototype, custom-made, bronze plated Magnum BFRs with the words, "Smith and Wilson," engraved on each barrel.

As she grew older, she began finding ponies to train her in the art of gunplay. And, in secret, got very good at it. She started to get advice on how to use her guns from a pony named...James. He taught her everything she needed to know about gunfighting, as he was one of the most famous ponies in Apploosa.

However, little did she know--James was a nefarious outlaw that wanted revenge. James was a major arms dealer that frequently bought six shooters from Mr. Wilson, and eventually was unable to maintain the stability of his gang once they were stuck with older models of weaponry, and lost their notoriety. James felt the only way to gain any of it back, would be to finish off the broken pony that was once the great manufacturer of Smith and Wilson himself. He used Libby to get close to him, and feigned friendship with her through gun training, and managed to get the location of her father's home from her.

A few days later, Libby unknowingly led James to her father as if it was a normal friendly visit at home. Before anyone realized what had happened, James went ahead and attacked Mr. Wilson, shooting him in the neck, Libby in the shoulder, and running off.

This made Libby angry--so angry she could not think what to do. She grabbed one of the pistols she had been using, aimed, and fired right at James before he could get away. One of Apploosa's most feared gang leaders had finally been brought down thanks to Libby G.

Libby started shaking as she realized she had hurt someone with her weapons...she started to freak. Until she saw her father, hurt on the floor. This was no time for fooling around, she had to get her father to a hospital. And that's exactly what she did.

A few days later, they were patched up, and she was able to visit him. Mr. Wilson was proud of her daughter for catching a gang member that was so powerful. However, she had to be honest with him. Libby told her father about how James gave her lessons behind his back, and that she was using HIS guns. Her father fell silent for a while...before giving her daughter a loving hug. He was proud that she was honest, and that she had found something she loved to do. However, he was somewhat unhappy that she had disobeyed him. Despite this, they made a deal. If Libby could put her weapons down and focus on other things with moderation for a while, then she would be allowed to travel Equestria, and perform like she always wanted.

With a few more months of training, she was ready. Libby set off away from home with her newfound skills, and started travelling Equestria, showing off her sharpshooting skills. And one thing was for sure. She promised to never use her weapons to hurt anyone. Only to perform...
