Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is supposed to be a lightning strike colored with the colors of her mane.

Personality: She is related to Rainbow Dash, so she is really competitive and she loves to brag about her achievements.

Backstory: She grew up in Cloudsdale with her mother. She had no father because sadly Lightning was adopted, no pony knows why. So she grew up with her mom in Cloudsdale and she loved to fly, because her mother taught her to. She got her cutie mark by doing a Sonic Rainboom. The reason she did that was because Rainbow Dash told her to. Coincidentally, Rainbow Dash was Lightning''s mother's sister! So, rainbow was Lightning's aunt. Unfortunately, Lightning's mother was growing ill so mother put Rainbow Dash in charge of Lightning if she died. And she did die, and Lightning cried and cried for weeks when she found out. When she went to her funeral, she cried when everyone was silent. Even though that wasn't her birth mother, she loved her like a birth mother. When Lightning turned 16, Dash decided to let her go out on her own and get ready for college. Which she did, and now she is in Wonderbolt Academy with a loyal friend of hers, Valentine Hearthooves.
