Cutie Mark: A simple acoustic guitar.<br />It shows her instrument of choice

Personality: Very calm and shy. It takes a long time before she opens up to other ponies, and even then it can take a while to get her to talk.

Backstory: Living in Las Pegasus all her life she's seen countless artists, good and bad. Because of that she became obsessed with music. She decided to learn the guitar when she was just a mere four years old. <br />Her parents wanted her to grow up in a safer place, but didn't directly have money available. <br />Once they did, They moved to Ponyville.<br />When everypony in class had to perform for the whole time Lightning was very nervous almost running away before she got on stage.<br />She's practiced a song since the start of the project, but when she was on stage she did something totally different. She performed a metal song instead of the classical one everypony was expecting.<br />Afterwards everypony was shocked, but then cheered louder than they most likely ever had before.<br />Lightning got her cutie mark but still stayed in school until she was 17 studying all sorts of things in case her career didn't make it of the ground. Since she's very shy she hasn't been on stage very often after her first performance. Even though barely anypony outside of ponyville has heard of her, she believes that once she get's out of her shyness she'll become famous.
