  • Limestone Quarry (Lime)

    Adente

    • Age: 20

      Gender: Female

      Species: Unicorn

Appearance: Light Orange/Brown coat, the color of dust, flame colored mane, kept long. Maroon eyes. Slightly smaller than the average mare. However, strong and sturdy due to manual labor. Usually covered by a thin film of dust and dirt after work, but can clean up quite nicely.

Cutie Mark: A workponie's hammer, since Lime is a pony who works with her hooves in construction. She has a talent for using her magic to build structures well, but for fine details and critical parts of the structure she uses her hooves, since she trusts herself more than her magic. A very blue-collar worker pony.

Personality: Lime is a very diligent pony, and when she sets her mind to a task she always follows through. A bit of a workaholic, evidenced by how she never cleans up, saying, "Why? Tomorrow I'm just going to get dirty all over again." However, this hard work ethic has never led to her biting off more than she can chew, and she has backed down in the face of impossible odds many a times before. Her greatest strength is arguably also her greatest flaw, and that is her tenacity. In her desire to succeed and finish the job, she alienates her more easy going associates. However, she does have a dry sense of humor that lends to more than a few sarcastic quips at her acquaintances.

Backstory: Limestone Quarry was separated from her parents at an early age, and grew up on the rough streets of Upper Manehatten, also known as Marelem. ((Nothing tragic; her parents are still alive and well, so never fear, Lime will never angst about her impoverished childhood)) Despite her poor upbringing, Marble developed a talent for construction and was hired on by a big shot Manehatten firm to work. She travels a fair amount, generally to wherever the demand for construction takes her. Once the job is done in the town and there is no more money to be made, she packs up and moves on to the next one. However, as her construction career took off, she works less on site and more negotiates contracts with ponies, and hires workers to do the manual labor. Currently residing in Canterlot.
