Appearance: Lockbook has gray-bluish fur and a slightly gray mane and tail. Her mane is curly and goes half down to her neck. Her tail is short and wild. Her total appearance seems old and tired. Her face has a weary, grumpy look. Her golden eyes are usually slightly squinted.<br /><br />Her magic has a dark violet glow.

Cutie Mark: A black book front with a golden lock in the middle. Four chains go from the lock to the corners of the bock.

Personality: Unfriendly and grumpy, Lockbook enjoys being alone and sunken in her books. She will unwillingly respond to others and give advice, but short and emotionless, at best annoyed. Unfriendly approach will make her even more grumpy and cause her to cast effective spells which will send you outside the city or deep within the moat.<br /><br />She will "remove" troublesome ponies from libraries if they cause too much of a commotion or destroy something. If asked for help, she will first refuse you, but persistent ponies can be asked to "get rid" of Heartseeker.

Backstory: Gifted with unique writing skills and some unusual magical talents, Lockbook worked for the greater noble families and wrote down their history. She also created important documents and sealed them away with illusive magic. After a family has been sufficiently equipped with secrets, or simply gone extinct, she searched for a new employer. Her way lead to Skyreach, where she dedicated herself to write down the history of the city and keep its secrets. What motivates her lies beyond common knowledge.<br /><br />Archivists discover her work all over Equestria. Fascinatingly enough, they date the age of this work on over hundreds of years...
