      Backstory: Slate Beaumont is the powerful and dignified father of Pearl Orchid. He lives in a castle built in an uncharted location to prevent trespassers and unwanted guests. Slate is a strict but also a very caring father as shown by how he would protect his daughter from being harmed by others. However he greatly despises mortals.
