Species: Unicorn

Appearance: Yeah, yeah, I know I used RD's hair colour for this guy, but it seemed apt considering his abilities.

Cutie Mark: Prism's cutie mark appear as a triangular prism, white light pouring into one and and a rainbow of light through the other.

Personality: Prism's cutie mark represents a number of aspects of him and his personality. It, in part, represents his adaptability and creativity, but also the strange type of magic that he prefers to use. He can be extremely defensive and paranoid at times, although he quickly becomes more relaxed when around people he knows. He doesn't hold a particular loyalty to any of the Princesses or factions of Equestria, but rather sides with whomever he deems to most beneficial to him and his loved ones.

Backstory: There isn't all that much unique about this particular pony's history. he grew up as an only child with two parents in Canterlot, in a wealthy family. His family was known for the particular magic they utilized, though. Although he was skilled in magic such as levitation, telekinesis, etc, SP preferred to utilize the skills passed down through his family for multiple generations. This revolved primarily around the use of light as a weapon, whether creating physical weapons out of "hard light", or amplifying beams of light with such intensity that they can melt through still, given enough time. The biggest downside to this magic was that it tended to be weakened where no light shone, although "hard light" weapons or light sources can be created if that may be the case. His magic also uses different colors of light to indicate different effects, in some cases. For example, green light magic can poison enemies, whereas red magics tend to heal. In essenc,e he uses different kinds of light magic to replace certain spells. ((WIP))
