Personality: Calm and collected, she normally the voice of reason in most instances. She has a rather nurturing nature and is very hard to make angry.

Backstory: Lura's family hails from the East like most Griffons but Lura was born and raised in Equestria in the Town of Apple Loosa. Lura and her family always seemed like the odd ones out being a family of Griffons in a mostly earth pony and buffalo populated town but that didn't make much difference after a while and everyone got to know each other. <br /><br />A little later on in life as went on Lura still had a hard time making friends she also learned that the colts and young buffalos loved to show off and on a trip to the Macintosh Mountains that proved to be a very bad thing. Lura was more responsible than the other kids so her parents weren't as worried about her going on a School trip with the other kids since a parent and teacher was going to be there. Well that was until some of the guys got the bright idea to break off from the rest of the group to explore the Bad Lands to prove how tough they could be and since she did want them to get in trouble she followed the behind to watch out for them. <br /><br />At first things seemed to be fine until from behind she noticed a Manticore stocking them making her call out so they ran and it chased. Lura knew she couldn't let it get to them and flew after the Manticor catching up to it and digging her claws into its back wanting to protect the others it also helped that she was bigger than the other kids so her size stopped it in its tracks and was able to fight it off but not before it claws her across her left eye blinding her in that eye. After she made sure the boys got back safe the trip was cut shoot and they were all taken home and after that she had never been closer to all her classmates especially the ones she saved who always feel guilty for what happened but she never held it agianst them.<br /><br />As the years went on Lura's love for protecting other's and having a profound sense of justice lead her to want to be part of the Royal guard. Thus she moved to Canterlot to try and make that dream come true no matter what the odds were against a Griffon trying to become a Gurad in the Royal Army of Canterlot.
