NeighingNanny

    • Age: 30

      Gender: Female

      Species: Non-Pony

      Appearance:
Dragon like facial structure with a smooth head and fin ears. Her large dark blue eyes have no whites and is very sensitive to sunlight. She has rather long neck with wide shoulders and horse like front legs and hooves. The rest of her long body stretches out behind her ending in a whale like tail, flat and powerful. Her design is overall simple and unimpressive. Her size is massive. Using human measurements, from her upright chest to the top of her head is about 15 feet high, which is calculated to being about 2/5 of her body's length. She wears no accessories as they would hinder her movement.

      Personality:
Lure is a very playful sort of creature. She loves to see beauty in the world around her and always tries to see the good and best in people. She loves to explore and see many new types of places. She loves other creatures and does what she can to show her affection for her friends, for she has few due to her circumstances. She doesn't like to pick favorites of anything and her list of things she does not like is rather short.

      Backstory:
Lure is a Kelpie. An underwater creature that could be described as a water pony or sea pony, but this would imply that she is a pony. Kelpies are more closer to dragons, though they have a shape similar to ponies. Much like a hippogriff is only part pony, but is not a pony, such is a life of a kelpie. Lure has lived in the deep dark depths of the ocean all her life. She was born 4th in her family of 7 children. Being a middle child was rather difficult and with her other siblings demanding attention, she often would be in her own little corner. Not that she was bad or anything, far from it. She just didn't want to get in the way. If she felt like she could help her mother, she would. To pass the time she would often swim up to the surface to look at the moon and stars, looking at the empty beaches and hardly seeing anyone out there, for it was dangerous for her to venture during the day. She tried to stay above the surface when the day was beginning. At first it wasn't so bad. She could see some ponies come to the shore to play as the sun rose over the horizon, but as it started to be mid morning, the heat began to burn and her eyes couldn't stay open. Quickly, she dove back into the water and down into the depths she swam where she could be safe in the cold and the dark. Her eyes and skin cannot stand the brightness and burn of the sun, lest she die. Only time during the day she could come up is during overcast where the sun is hidden and rain threatens, but again, no one would be on the beach. She looked over the land and want to know what sort of things ponies did and how they lived, but she could never leave her ocean home... and prison.
