Appearance: Fur: light blue/cyan<br />Mane/Tail: Royal blue and white; curly.<br /><br />Wears a blue-banded leather watch on her left front hoof; is terribly afraid of being late. Wears black thick-rimmed glasses. Three white freckles on each cheek; similar to AJ's. Tail is loosely gathered and tied at the tip with a crisp white bow. Ponies make fun of her for her nerdy appearance. Can also often be seen with a pencil behind her ear.

Cutie Mark: Lyrica's cutie mark is a spiral notebook and a pencil. She got her cutie mark on the day she won the National Creative Writing Contest with her own rendition of a popular pony tale, "Ruffle Stillskin". She discovered her passion for writing when she was very small, and has a wide range of artistic talents, which is incredibly surprising considering her lineage.

Personality: Lyrica is very eccentric and spontaneous once you get to know her, as all creative geniuses are. However, when you first meet this little pony, she can appear very shy. But not to worry; once you open your heart and give her love, she will open right up. She loves to make her friends happy, and that sometimes can get her into trouble by allowing them to walk all over her. Whatever you do, don't break this little pony's heart.

Backstory: Lyrica was born to a literary scholar, Ode Du Champagne (http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/ode-du-champagne-r5789) and a chemistry genius, Golden Triad (http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/golden-triad-r5790). She grew up alone in a mansion-turned-library with only the company of a tiny rodent friend, Joke. Her parents never had time for her, and Joke was the only one who listened to her great ideas. When she graduated from the most elite pony academy in Canterlot (upon her father's orders), Lyrica decided to move down to Ponyville to pursue her talent of writing and to soothe her creative mind. She lives in a tiny house just two blocks away from Twilight Sparkle's treehouse, but has never met the pony. However, she has written several novels that Twilight holds dear. She has a pen name, Ls, which is pronounced "Else", which she created to fit the profile of a horror novelist a little more. Upon meeting her, no pony would ever guess that she was Ls; she's too darn cute to be the pony Stephen King!
